Well, here's my take on the Sketch this week. Yes, I flipped it - only because my picture warranted a flip - I don't usually flip sketches...but it was kind of fun! :)

It was my turn to do one of the challenges at SnS this month (September) so here it is. Mine is a Word Challenge - you have to use a particular word in your title. This month's word is FUN!! :)

Just a quick one this morning....I stamped a couple of images for Brayden too and we spent a little time together coloring this morning. Too fun!! :)

Whipped up this little mini backpack album this afternoon! It was a quick little project and if you're interested, you can find the tutorial here:

The instructions are excellent and I thought it would make a cute little gift to welcome Brayden's teacher back to the school year.

Spotlight Special at SNS this week.....

This week at Savvy N Sassy the spotlight special includes all the Shimmerz paints and products from Imaginisce. I made this little guy using those products. Shimmerz is really hard to see "online" but it looks sooo cute IRL. I even painted this little guys toenails with Magenta shimmerz. The ribbon is also from the September Ribbon Kit. It's a gorgeous collection this month....loads of beautiful browns!! I just may have to get another one!! :)

I'm having sooo much fun playing with these little guys. They are just the cutest images!! :)

Ribbon is from the Savvy n' Sassy September Kit. It's just a beautiful kit - full of beautiful brown ribbon and ric rac. The colors are gorgeous. I'll have more projects in a few more days! :)

Here's a little card I made using Alva! I just think she's so cute. I was trying a couple of different techniques with the copics and wasn't really happy how she turned out - but I still think she's cute, so I couldn't bear to throw her away!! These images are just sooo fun. I ordered a few more and they have shipped, so should be here next week sometime. I can't wait to play!!! :)

A few weeks ago, I stumbled upon this challenge site called Creative Scrappers. Every week (on Sunday) they upload a sketch and you have the week to complete it and load your entry. The sketches have been fabulous - but even moreso is what their fabulous design team does with these things. I swear I love every layout they come up with each week. They are INCREDIBLE!!!! I'm not even a real "sketch" kinda gal...but these ladies are inspiring!!! Have a look!!

We've had some accidents this year with Brayden, so when I look at pictures like these they make me happy but frightened at the same time. My journaling reads "Brayden...we've had our fair share of close calls this year. I know you love speed, but please....."B" CAREFUL!"
