I used the rag technique on her dress and hat. You can really see this technique adds texture. It almost looks velvety!!! :)
On my second card, I tried the technique on her hair. Interesting - definitely some texture. I stole a couple of the techniques I used on this card (the pin pricks, matting, etc) from my friend Peggy - she ROCKS The Greeting Farm Stamps and I love what she does with them. Thought I'd give her style a whirl for this one!! I do believe she even has a few sets of these stamps in her store - Stamp, Paper, Glue!!! Thanks PEG!!! :)
My last card is just me - messing around and coloring. I really wish you could SEE how much the snowflake sparkles in real life. Shame I can't get a better picture!! I really do need lessons. Or maybe I need to start taking pictures in the morning outside - instead of at night time under my Ott light. Well, alas...that's just when I happen to be most productive. One day I'll get better at it!! :) Thanks for stopping by!! Have a great weekend!!!
Lovin' all your cards as usual GF! Can't wait to play soon!
