Rag Technique

The Rag Technique was this month's copic tip at Savvy N Sassy!! Ann did a fabulous tutorial here for it.  I must say, not one of my favorites ...I'm way too sloppy to pull this one off.  I had colorless blender EVERYWHERE.  I also found my images bled a little too much for my liking.  I'm not fond of the bleeding!!! Anyway - here are my creations for this month:

I used the rag technique on her dress and hat.  You can really see this technique adds texture.  It almost looks velvety!!! :)

On my second card, I tried the technique on her hair.  Interesting - definitely some texture.   I stole a couple of the techniques I used on this card (the pin pricks, matting, etc) from my friend Peggy - she ROCKS The Greeting Farm Stamps and I love what she does with them. Thought I'd give her style a whirl for this one!! I do believe she even has a few sets of these stamps in her store - Stamp, Paper, Glue!!! Thanks PEG!!! :)

My last card is just me - messing around and coloring.  I really wish you could SEE how much the snowflake sparkles in real life.  Shame I can't get a better picture!! I really do need lessons.  Or maybe I need to start taking pictures in the morning outside - instead of at night time under my Ott light.  Well, alas...that's just when I happen to be most productive.  One day I'll get better at it!! :)  Thanks for stopping by!! Have a great weekend!!!
