A cozy cup sleeve!!

Well, there was no work this morning, common after a pay period cut off - so I took full advantage and decided to spend the morning at my craft desk - finishing up some Christmas cards and getting odds and ends done before we leave for the weekend.  I had seen this little tutorial over at Splitcoast Stampers and I was dying to give it a whirl.  It's a gift for a friend of mine who always joins me at the freezing cold ice rink to chat with me while my little guy plays hockey!!   I wanted one for me I actually made two!! :)  Here is the tutorial in case you are wanting to make one for yourself.....

And here is MY version:

Hard to see in the picture - but there are sparkles (Ranger stickles)  and "snow" (liquid applique) on the trees.  This stuff actually puffs up to give it a little dimension.  :)  I sponged the back ground with my Memento inks - Desert Sand and Summer Sky.  The cardstock is sewn to felt for stability - it really is cozy!! :)
Thanks for stopping by....come again soon!! :)
