So it was an expensive day in the Costa household yesterday!!! We left the house at 7:00 a.m. and headed to the coast. Roads were pretty good - a little sketchy up top on the summit but that was to be expected! Got to Abbotsford just before noon where Wayne and Brayden dropped me off at Fibers West. I ran into a few people I knew and spent the better part of three hours perusing all the fibery goodness. It was about what I expected it to be....and I came home with this lovely goodness:
A couple of batts of fiber (over 8 oz. each), some silk hankies, 6 new skeins of yummy yarn, some earrings, the new cubics double point needles and some new dyes to try out - yeah...I think I did okay! :)
Even though I dropped a few hundred dollars, that's NOTHING compared to what Wayne spent when he bought this:
Oh yeah!!!! I can't WAIT to take this baby on the road!!! 2006 Harley Davidson cruiser!! I'm stoked!! I think this will be MUCH more comfortable than the old bike, which I always though I was going to fall off of everytime he hit the gas!! No...this will be MUCH better! Now if we could just get this snow to stop!!! GAH!!! Anyway, it was a great day and we got back home last night just after 9pm. Today, Wayne is out washing his new toy and seeing what was all in the additional boxes of "stuff" the gal threw in. It's like Christmas around here!! :)

SWEET BABY !!!! When does the sidecar go on for Brayden and Cubby ? You did pretty darn good yourself GF ! Such restraint ! LOL ! Yes , the snow can STOP at any time !!! Time to think about bring out the SUMMER TOYS that are bigger then a sandcastle ! Enjoy the new TOY !!!
